Nakuru Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto shakes hands with DP Ruto

It is undisputed that Nakuru Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto is the Deputy President William Ruto’s point man at the County. He rose to the position after proving his capability to unite the community members.

With the fact that Nakuru is a facsimile of republic of Kenya mothering the 42 tribes DG being second after Mbugua plays the same role DP is does at the National level.

The two brilliant leaders who share third names “Ruto” have proven capabilities by hiking the ladders to present second in command positions National and County level respectively.

DG is therefore the only leader DP has entrusted position to man ‘former URP” leaders at the county.

“DP Ruto believes in Kibore because of his truthful and transparent nature, I have seen him twice lead the leaders to DP’s Sugoi home for political talks” an elder said.
From Rongai, Mauche, Molo and both Kuresoi North and South DG, is the top leader who is consulted to give direction on community’s critical issues.

“ Nakuru is like Kenya that harbours all tribes, that is why we always emulate what Uhuru and Ruto does to unite Kenyans, we  do not want to hear again any ethnic division in Nakuru” DG said last weekend.

He said, unity supersedes individual interest saying he will never speak against Governor Mbugua for the sake of peace and tranquility.

DG’s wisdom on how he approaches issues has pleased DP Ruto.

As a confirm of their togetherness, DP has been hosted several times to Ruto’s  Bombo home  several times whenever he tours around.

Kalenjin elders who are members of Myoot Council of elders led by Joseph Sang have always defended DG saying he is a respectful leader.

“ Ruto prioritizes public interests that is why we stand by him” an elder said.

Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua chatting with President Kenyatta in April

For those who did not know, Nakuru County is a replica of Kenya with all ethnic communities co-existing harmoniously with the able leadership of Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and his Deputy Joseph Ruto.
Mbugua and Ruto trails the suit of Uhuru and Ruto who have united the Kenyan communities regardless of ethnic background.
Recently the Deputy Governor said, they solidly agreed with Mbugua to keep off selfish interests, for the sake of residents and Kenya at large.
Since the duo took over the leadership, Nakuru has hosted several National events Presided by Uhuru and Ruto and this is a clear indication of their love for Mbugua’s leadership.
National thanksgiving rally following the termination of cases of crimes against humanity that faced DP Ruto and journalist Joshua Arap Sang at the International Criminal Court (ICC) was held at Afraha Stadium April this year.
Two months later, Madaraka day celebrations that were presided by UhuRuto were held at the same stadium.

In April prior ICC cases thanksgiving, the two principals toured Kamara, Molo, Nakuru town and many other parts where they commissioned several projects which include re-carpeting of; Molo-Olenguruone road and supplied medical equipment to Nakuru PGH hospital.
The two are also expected soon where DP will preside over a fundraiser in Kuresoi South before commissioning of Itare dam in Ndoinet Forest in Kuresoi North Constituency.
Nakuru has also hosted meetings of Dr. David Owour several times because of they know value of words God to populace.

Mbugua and Ruto won 2013 General election by landslide after he floored former NTSA boss Lee Kinyanjui.
With their unity, Mbugua and Ruto have initiated several projects that have impacted on developmental growth.
Due to good performance, it is also predicted that Mbugua and Ruto will win by landslide owing to great support from all corners of the county.

It is apparently clear that Kinuthia Mbugua and his Deputy Joseph Ruto for the past four years have been in Government have made Nakuru the best place to be.
You should not forget that the two leaders have a vast knowledge of the unit since When Mbugua was the larger Nakuru District Commissioner (DC), Ruto was its District Education officer (DEO) where they left indelible marks each on his capacity.

The duo did not know that they would once be elected to the posts but their election seems to be a mixture of Gods reward for the good job they did and confidence that residents have with them.
Prior to their election, the region was not only poor but also tensed and unfavorable for the 42 tribes but chose to emulate President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto who have also united all Kenyan communities.
Women welcome DG Ruto in Kuresoi North on Saturday

“ Our main agenda is to unite all communities living in the county the way Uhuru and Ruto has done and also solve offer them a better place to be” Ruto said.
As they pursue re-election in the coming General election they are proud to have initiated various developmental projects across the eleven sub-counties and shared all county resources equitably.
Women laud Nakuru County for being mindful to their needs
“ We are indeed pleased by this County government they have really changed the county, by doing roads, hospitals, ECDE classrooms and hired many people who had no hope after completing studies” Joan Bett from Kuresoi.
She added that their combination was excellent and deserve more chance to complete the projects they started.
Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi with Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto at Langwenda.Cheboi applauded Mbugua and asked locals to appreciate their good work by giving them another chance
Ms. Bett added that County has opened up several roads in Kuresoi, which used to offer a big challenge to farmers when transporting their products to the market.
Kuresoi North residents of Saturday during functions attended by DG Ruto applauded their efforts to reach out to them and solve their problems citing Muchorwe –Kamwaura road that has eased their economic activities.
Over 200 women from Langwenda said they will stand with Mbugua and Ruto because they are mindful to their problems.
Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi on his side, said the two have made him proud by their diligent and commitment to serve the electorate.
“Many MPs can’t sit with their Governors but I am personally proud of them because of their commitment to help locals” he said.
Women from Kuresoi North lauded DG Ruto and Governor Mbugua for helping them. DG assisted them to purchase a tent for hire and seats
The MP asked locals to elect politicians who are mindful to their problems adding that new aspirants should table their performance record to prove their capability.
This happens as NACADA chair John Mututho and former NTSA chair Lee Kinyanjui who are eying for Governorship face rejection from the public because they left no legacy.

“The two headed National offices but we as Nakuru residents have nothing to be proud of. They did not make any impact and so we will never entertain them but we want leaders who have proven that they can deliver” Joe Ngugi said.
